This project consists of a full rehabilitation and proper installation of artificial turf across the front, side, and backyard areas of the property, replacing a previously failed installation that lacked the necessary base and structural preparation. The total project area is approximately 3,400 square feet.
Our scope includes complete site preparation, beginning with the removal of existing weeds, vegetation, and compromised materials currently present throughout the yard. The existing weed barrier will be removed and replaced, as it has been disturbed and is no longer effective. All areas will be properly graded to create a smooth, uniform surface and to ensure adequate drainage.
We will install a new compacted base using Class II road base, which is essential for long-term stability, proper drainage, and to prevent movement or failure of the turf. This base will be leveled and mechanically compacted to create a solid foundation for the new installation.
A commercial-grade weed barrier will then be installed throughout all turf areas to minimize future weed growth.
New artificial turf will be installed across all designated areas, including the front yard, backyard, side yard, and the rear planter strip (approximately 4.5 feet wide). The turf will be carefully cut, seamed, and secured, with proper edge detailing along concrete, pavers, and perimeter transitions. Infill will be applied to enhance appearance, durability, and performance.
Additionally, the existing brick paver tree rings surrounding the palm trees will be removed and hauled away. These areas will be redesigned using circular bender board edging and filled with California Gold decorative rock to create a clean, low-maintenance landscape feature.
Due to the current condition of the property, including heavy weed presence and prior improper installation, this project is designed to correct underlying issues and deliver a long-lasting, low-maintenance, and visually appealing outdoor space.
The estimated duration for completion is approximately 3 to 4 working days, depending on site conditions and material logistics.
