This proposal covers the complete front-yard landscape renovation at 10860 Aster Ln, Apple Valley, CA 92308. The existing front yard contains approximately 1,675 sq. ft. of natural grass. The final design will combine approximately 785 sq. ft. of Marathon premium artificial turf, approximately 890 sq. ft. of Arizona cobble or comparable premium decorative cobble, a custom curved decorative seating wall around the existing tree, and installation of up to ten owner-supplied plants.
Kreative Gardens will remove the existing natural grass throughout the approved project footprint, excavate as required to establish proper finished elevations, and haul away normal demolition debris generated by the project. We recommend suspending lawn irrigation approximately 4–5 days before demolition, when HOA requirements and weather permit, so the upper soil profile can partially dry.
The approved turf areas will be installed with Marathon premium artificial grass. Preparation includes commercial-grade weed-barrier fabric, approximately 2.5–3 inches of recycled Class II road base where required, grading, moisture conditioning as needed, and mechanical compaction.
The turf will be professionally laid with consistent fiber direction, cut and fitted around permanent features, seamed where required, securely fastened, infilled, power brushed, and cleaned. Composite bender board will be used where required to create clean transitions between turf and decorative-rock areas.
Along the neighboring property boundaries, 2×4 pressure-treated ground-contact lumber will be used where required as a durable concealed turf termination and fastening edge.
The decorative landscape areas will be finished with Arizona cobble or comparable premium decorative cobble at an approximate nominal depth of 2–3 inches, installed over commercial-grade landscape fabric/geotextile.
The entire lawn area to the left of the driveway will be converted to decorative rock. On the right side of the front yard, the turf areas will terminate approximately 3 feet before the public sidewalk; those sidewalk-adjacent bands will be finished with matching decorative rock and planting areas.

Alternative Decorative Rock — Deduct $300: If the homeowners prefer a standard 1–3 inch decorative rock instead of Arizona cobble or comparable premium cobble, $300 will be deducted from the quoted project price. The final color and material will be selected by the homeowners and confirmed before materials are ordered.

Kreative Gardens will construct a custom curved decorative seat wall in front of the existing mature tree. The wall is planned as an approximately 12-foot-diameter semicircular layout, approximately 19 linear feet along the curved face, and approximately 20 inches finished height.
The wall will be constructed with Pavestone-style beige concrete retaining-wall blocks similar to the selected 4 in. × 11.75 in. × 6.75 in. block. It will consist of approximately six courses, with the first course partially embedded and carefully leveled over the prepared compacted foundation. Courses will have staggered joints and exterior landscape-block adhesive between courses.
The top will be finished with coordinating concrete cap blocks, fully adhered to provide a smoother seating surface. The wall is intended as a decorative seating wall, not as an engineered structural retaining wall. Existing tree trunk and root-flare elevations will not intentionally be raised or buried.

The proposal includes installation of up to ten (10) owner-supplied plants, maximum 5-gallon container size each. Plants may be available at the job site or picked up locally by Kreative Gardens by prior arrangement. Plant purchase cost is not included.
Existing irrigation serving areas converted to artificial turf or decorative rock will be capped or terminated at practical locations. Existing general drainage patterns will be maintained; major drainage-system modifications are not included unless specifically added in writing. Existing utility boxes, cleanouts, valve boxes, and similar service points will remain accessible and incorporated into the finished grade.
Kreative Gardens will prepare a conceptual landscape sketch for HOA review showing the proposed turf, decorative-rock areas, planting zones, borders, and decorative seat wall. Available material samples and specifications will also be provided for the homeowner's architectural submission. HOA approval remains the homeowner's responsibility, and HOA-required changes that materially alter the scope may require a revised proposal.
The complete Arizona-cobble landscape package is $14,000 when paid by credit card or through approved financing. A discounted $13,300 cash price is available.
DG Alternative: If decomposed granite is selected in place of the decorative-rock areas, the discounted cash price is $12,500.
Owner Haul-Away Option — Deduct $500: Kreative Gardens will cut, remove, and stage the existing sod/material in an accessible area. The homeowner will be responsible for loading, hauling, and legally disposing of all staged sod and associated soil. Staged material must be removed promptly and may not interfere with installation access or the project schedule.
Kreative Gardens provides its standard two-year workmanship warranty. Marathon carries the applicable 16-year manufacturer warranty, subject to the manufacturer's written terms and exclusions.
This all-inclusive price covers everything required for a professional and lasting installation — from premium materials and delivery to expert labor, site preparation, and final cleanup. We handle the entire process so you don’t have to coordinate with multiple contractors or worry about hidden fees. What you see is what you pay.
Clients who choose to pay in full at the time of approval enjoy a reduced total. This offer reflects the savings we pass along by avoiding third-party financing and administrative fees — while still delivering the same high-quality results.
