This project includes the installation of a custom-designed putting green and surrounding fringe area within an approximately 4,000 sq ft prepared space at Shay Meadow Ranch & Resort.
The putting green and fringe will occupy approximately 2,000 sq ft of this area, creating a dedicated golf feature while maintaining surrounding open space for circulation and aesthetics.
The site has been prepared by Bay Meadows, including the installation and compaction of Class II base and the addition of gopher wire for long-term stability and protection. The customer has also supplied the primary materials, including a 15' x 100' putting green turf roll and a 15' x 100' roll of Evergrass Summer Gold 96 for the fringe, along with the necessary edging.
Due to the dimensional constraints of the 15-foot-wide putting green roll, the final shape of the putting surface has been adjusted from the original concept to ensure optimal material utilization, minimize seams, and maintain a clean, professional finish while preserving the overall design intent.
Kreative Gardens will complete the installation by providing and installing weed barrier, securing all materials with nails, and applying the appropriate infill for both the putting surface and fringe areas to ensure durability, proper drainage, and consistent playability.
The putting green will be shaped to approximately 15' x 60', maintaining a natural flow from the tee box while optimizing layout efficiency. The design will include two cup locations, with the option to add additional holes to enhance versatility and play experience given the overall length.
The fringe will be installed with variable widths to maximize coverage using the provided materials, including approximately 2 feet along the rear section and expanded coverage toward the front using the remaining turf. The tee box area will be constructed using the remaining putting green material to create a cohesive and functional practice setup.
As an optional upgrade, Kreative Gardens can fine-tune the speed of the putting green using a stimpmeter to achieve a consistent and customized ball roll performance.
This installation is designed to deliver efficient material use, a natural flow from tee to green, and a high-quality putting experience suitable for both casual guests and more advanced users.
This custom installation transforms the space into a resort-style amenity, combining playability, aesthetics, and lasting quality in one seamless design.
This all-inclusive price covers everything required for a professional and lasting installation — from premium materials and delivery to expert labor, site preparation, and final cleanup. We handle the entire process so you don’t have to coordinate with multiple contractors or worry about hidden fees. What you see is what you pay.
Clients who choose to pay in full at the time of approval enjoy a reduced total. This offer reflects the savings we pass along by avoiding third-party financing and administrative fees — while still delivering the same high-quality results.

The following items are not included in this proposal unless expressly stated in writing:
This putting green has been designed to provide a balanced and enjoyable playing experience for guests of all skill levels. The layout promotes a natural flow from the tee box toward the green, allowing for both short and mid-range practice shots in a setting that complements the surrounding landscape.
The use of a dedicated putting surface combined with a contrasting fringe creates a realistic transition similar to a traditional golf environment, enhancing both aesthetics and functionality. The selected configuration allows for multiple shot angles and varied play scenarios while maintaining efficient use of the provided materials.
Proper infill application and finishing techniques will be used to support consistent ball roll and surface stability. While performance may vary depending on environmental conditions and the characteristics of the customer-supplied turf, the installation is intended to deliver a smooth and reliable putting experience.
Over time, light brushing and periodic infill redistribution may be recommended to maintain optimal appearance and playability, particularly in high-traffic areas such as cup locations and approach paths.
For clients seeking a more refined playing experience, Kreative Gardens offers optional post-installation tuning of green speed using a stimpmeter, allowing for adjustment toward a preferred pace of play.
This installation is intended to create a visually appealing and functional recreational feature that integrates seamlessly into the property while offering long-term enjoyment for guests.
